Bringing
you the taste of Thailand
The culinary secrets from
the Five Great Siamese Kingdoms are at the heart of Mai
Thai's Royal Thai-style cuisine.
Mai Thai has developed the reputation as perhaps the finest
Thai Restaurant in New Zealand - a fact recognized by the
Thai Embassy when it chose it as the location to host the
Thai Prime Minister during the 1999 APEC conference and
the numerous awards the restaurant has received.
Mai Thai is one of the largest restaurant of its kind
in the country, with a capacity to seat 160 diners.
The popularity of the cuisine has grown because of its
complexity and wonderful tastes - hot, sour, salty, sweet
and spicy - with the subtle addition of locally ground
roots, grasses and aromatic herbs to ease the bite.
Our customers are not the only ones impressed! Mai Thai food has achieved an international
recognition of being the very best quality. This high
standard was acknowledged by the awarding of Thailand Brand
Certificate.
Whatever the occasion, a meal at the Mai Thai makes it
special.
